Gary Young – B.Sc.(Hons), PT

To say the least Gary is a sports junkie. He’s the owner and founder of dynamic and is a physio extraordinaire. With advanced training and personal experience with neck, back, shoulder, foot and sports related injuries he knows how to treat just about every injury and condition. Gary practices exercise based rehabilitation that will have you up and running in no time.

Alex Lye MSRS, B.Sc.Kin(Hons), PT

Alex earned an honours degree in Kinesiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2007 and a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Science (M.Sc. RS) from Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland in 2010.

His particular fields of interest lie in vestibular rehabilitation for the treatment of vertigo and dizziness, acupuncture and dry needling, concussion therapy, and musculoskeletal orthopedics and sports injuries. He also has extensive knowledge and continued education in the areas of lumbo-pelvic disorders, TMJ dysfunction, running assessment and injury treatment and prevention. He has worked with numerous sports particularly the Rock rugby team, various martial arts clubs, numerous basketball teams of all ages, racket sports especially squash where he is considered one of the top players in the province.

Frank Knox - B.Sc. P.T. FCAMT

Frank Knox attended Memorial University and earned a B. Sc. in Biology in 1987. He then attended Dalhousie University earned a B. Sc in Physiotherapy in 1989. He has over 27 years of clinical experience with the majority in orthopedics and private practice. He earned the designation of a Fellow of the Canadian Association of Manipulative Therapists in 1995 after successful completion of Part A and B exams through the Orthopaedic Division of CPA. From 1995 – 1998 he was an instructor at the School of Massage Therapy at the Career Academy and from 1998 – present he is an instructor at the College of the North Atlantic in the Rehabilitation Assistants’ Program.

Cynthia Littlejohn PT

Cynthia graduated from Memorial University in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology (co-op) honors; where she was a member of the women's varsity volleyball team. She went on to complete her Masters in Science of Physiotherapy at McMaster University graduating in 2008. Cynthia has been working in private practice since that time. Cynthia has a strong interest in manual therapy and has completed her level III Diploma of manual therapy through the orthopedic division of manual therapy diploma program. Other areas of continuing education include acupuncture, advanced hip assessment and treatment, soft tissue release, athletic and postural taping, mulligan techniques, shoulder assessment and treatment as well as running analysis and running injury treatment and prevention.

Gerianne Rowe, MScPT

Gerianne graduated with her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy (MSc PT) from Dalhousie University, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Behavioural Neuroscience at MUN. In her practice she takes pride in promoting overall health and well-being for all of her clients through a mainly exercise-based approach to treatment. She prioritizes patient empowerment to help recovery last long term. Partly due to her combined education in psychology and physiotherapy, she is interested in the role of yoga and mindfulness for the treatment of chronic pain, as well as for active athletes and seniors. Gerianne is also particularly interested in Sacroiliac Joint and low back pain. Despite several specific interest areas, she loves treating clients with all sorts of complaints ranging from athletes to injured workers, children, and seniors. In her spare time, Gerianne enjoys going to the gym, hiking, yoga, reading, singing, and travelling.

Norbert Lake D.C

Norbert has over 15 years of clinical experience and has enjoyed working in a variety of clinical settings with a variety of health professionals. In his current role as Chiropractor with Dynamic Physiotherapy and Wellness, Norbert has the pleasure of working with a great group of dedicated professionals. He maintains a general practice clinic incorporating manual treatment techniques with exercise and active rehabillitation approaches. Norbert practices what he preaches and does stress the importance of fitness, nutrition and having a healthy lifestyle. When not at work, you can find Norbert running, at the gym, or relaxing with family and friends. Professional, yet laid back, is how Norbert likes to keep things.

Dr. Jason Lawlor
Dr. Lawlor completed his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry in 1997 from Memorial University before embarking on his Chiropractic education, graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic is 2001.  Dr. Lawlor practiced in both Iowa and Michigan from 2001 until 2010, at which time he and his wife returned home to Newfoundland.
Dr. Lawlor is fully Chiropractic board certified in both Canada and the US, and is trained and certified in both Class 3b (Low Intensity) and Class 4 (High Intensity) Laser Therapy treatment. His practice emphasis is with chronic pain management as well as working with active individuals in an integrative approach to health and wellness.  Dr. Lawlor’s approach is to not only address the injury complaint, but to determine the underlying cause of dysfunction in the body to help prevent future injury, improve quality of life, and maximize performance.  Treatment approaches range from Deep Tissue Laser Therapy, Chiropractic Adjustments, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Active/Myofascial soft tissue therapy, exercise based rehabilitation, and kinesiotaping.  When not in the clinic, Dr. Lawlor can usually be found hiking trails with his wife Ingrid and dog Bailey, or working out at the local gym.

Heidi Legrow-RMT

Heidi obtained her education from The Canadian College Of Massage & Hydrotherapy in Toronto. She has been practicing full-time as a Registered Massage Therapist in clinical, hospital & long term care settings throughout Ontario & Newfoundland since 2005. She is a current member in good standing with the CMTNL & NLMTA.

Heidi has treated a multitude of acute & chronic conditions/ injuries working with all ages in the general public, motor vehicle collisions, workplace injuries & sports injuries. She has trained in Toronto hospitals working with high-risk pregnancies, offers experience with professional trainers & athletes, as well as offers an escape to those who simply need time to relax or ease a simple headache. Whether your goal is rehabilitation, prevention, or relaxation, Heidi encourages you to get involved with Massage Therapy as part of a healthy lifestyle.

Katie Lambe-RMT

Katie graduated from Academy Canada's Massage Therapy Program in 2013 and became an active member with Newfoundland & Labrador Massage Therapy Association in 2014. Katie skills include deep tissue massage as well as relaxation massage, assuring that you leave happy no matter what the reason you came in for! Katie has made it her life's purpose to help people regain the quality of their life through not only massage, but also Reiki (energy healing). She is a Level 2 Reiki practitioner and is eager to continue learning. Katie gives a unique and fresh perspective on healing and thrives to spread her positivity and healthy lifestyle to those around her.

Courtney Waterman, RMT

Courtney graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at Academy Canada in 2017 and is an active member of the Newfoundland & Labrador Massage Therapists Association. She enjoys to focus on deep tissue therapy along with other modalities such as cupping and relaxation techniques. Courtney thrives on positvity and hard work which can be seen throughout her work, daily life and personality. Courtney is pleased to have Dynamic Physio & Wellnss as part of her positive journey and to promote a healthy, happy lifestyle to all her clients.

Felicia Newell - Registered Dietitian- Nutritionist & Health Coach

Felicia Newell is a Nutritionist, Registered Dietitian, Health Coach, & Food and Nutrition Expert. She has over 11 years of education and experience in, and is trained in Medical Nutrition Therapy and Nutrition Counselling. Between completing her Bachelor and Masters in Nutritional Sciences, working at a research centre, teaching university courses, many years of nutrition counselling and helping people, and being a busy mom of 4 young boys, she has the well-rounded education, skills, passion, and experience to help others improve their health, and achieve their wellness goals.

Felicia understands that we live in a busy world, and we all eat various foods for various reasons. Research shows that there is no ‘cookie cutter’ plan that works for everyone. Deanne Dietz, CNP, NNCP,B.Ed

Deanne graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Education in 2003.  After teaching for a couple of years, Deanne decided to move to Ontario and pursue her education in Holistic Nutrition while training, coaching and racing in Ironman Triathlons.  In 2012 Deanne received an Honors Diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition from The Institute of Holistic Nutrition (IHN).  Deanne currently holds the designations of Natural Nutrition – Clinical Practitioner as given by the Canadian Association of Natural Nutrition Practitioners and the exclusive designation of Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP) with the Certified Nutritional Practitioners Council of Canada (CNPCC).  Deanne also holds a certificate as a Naturopath/Naturotherapist with The Academy of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists of Canada and is also WOW! Nutrition System Certified.

Kayla Ward, Manual Osteopath

After completing her Bachelor of Arts at Memorial University, Kayla Ward continued her education to obtained her Medical Degree in 2015 at the Spartan Health Science University. Her passion for helping others has allowed Kayla to acquire a variety of international experiences in the heath care field.

Kayla furthered her education in 2017 by obtaining a diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice from the National Academy of Osteopathy. Her philosophy focuses on improving and restoring physical functionality to her client’s lives. Kayla’s treatment provides the tools to maintain a balanced physically active lifestyle through corrective rehabilitation techniques. Her extensive experience and patient centered approach provides a knowledgeable, holistic therapy for a diverse range of conditions and client requests.
